Purpose:

The Bureau of Research and Development (BRD) is the backbone of the Foundation’s knowledge generation and scientific innovation. Its role is to facilitate evidence-based health research, support development programs, and bridge the gap between academic research and practical healthcare solutions. Through focused research initiatives, the Bureau empowers healthcare professionals and communities with cutting-edge knowledge that drives informed decisions and interventions.


Core Services of BRD:

  1. Health Research Surveys

    • Design, develop, and implement national and regional health research surveys focusing on prevalent diseases, mental health, lifestyle conditions, and community health needs.

    • Collection, analysis, and reporting of survey data to provide actionable insights for public health interventions.

    • Collaboration with local healthcare providers, medical schools, and NGOs to ensure comprehensive data collection.

  2. Doctor On Call (DOC by IF)

    • Provision of telemedicine services, offering free consultations for underserved communities through virtual healthcare platforms.

    • Coordination with medical professionals to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely healthcare delivery through digital platforms.

    • Development of a network of volunteer doctors and healthcare providers to expand coverage.

  3. Clinical Trials & Innovation

    • Conduct clinical research studies aimed at evaluating new treatments, therapies, and healthcare models.

    • Collaborating with research institutions and pharmaceutical companies to test and validate innovative health solutions.

    • Dissemination of research findings through publications, medical conferences, and collaboration with policy-making bodies.

  4. Development of Health Innovations

    • Research and development of new healthcare technologies, products, and services that improve patient care and health system efficiency.

    • Exploration of integrative medicine solutions that combine traditional and modern healthcare practices.

    • Focus on creating affordable healthcare products and services, with an emphasis on accessibility in underserved regions.

  5. Collaboration with Academia & Research Institutions

    • Establish partnerships with universities, research institutions, and medical organizations to foster knowledge exchange.

    • Organize joint research projects, workshops, and webinars to disseminate knowledge and best practices.

    • Support the Foundation’s efforts in publishing research papers and articles in renowned academic journals and platforms.

  6. Policy Advocacy & Healthcare Initiatives

    • Collaborating with governmental bodies, international organizations, and public health agencies to influence health policies and advocate for patient-centric reforms.

    • Utilizing research findings to develop policy briefs, white papers, and recommendations for improving public health systems.

    • Engaging in discussions on global healthcare challenges, including non-communicable diseases, mental health, and healthcare access.

  7. Impact Evaluation & Reporting

    • Conducting evaluations of health programs and initiatives to measure their impact and effectiveness.

    • Regular reporting on research outcomes, including findings from Doctor On Call (DOC by IF), clinical trials, and health surveys.

    • Analysis of health program data to determine outcomes, effectiveness, and areas of improvement for future interventions.


Support Functions:

  • With Central Bureau of Organisation (CBO):
    Coordination for the documentation, official reports, and communication of research results. Ensuring that all research activities align with the Foundation’s strategic direction and goals.

  • With Bureau of Global Communications (BGC):
    Amplifying research findings and initiatives through global communication channels. Supporting the dissemination of key research insights via social media, publications, and public speaking engagements.

  • With Bureau of Event Management (BEM):
    Organizing academic and research-driven events such as conferences, workshops, and health outreach activities. Promoting findings from research surveys and clinical trials at major health summits and events.

  • Health Research Surveys & Reports: Published data sets, findings, and impact reports on various health conditions.

  • Research Papers & Publications: Academic articles and papers submitted to journals and presented at conferences.

  • Clinical Trial Reports: Findings from clinical studies and evaluations of new treatments or therapies.

  • Innovation Development Plans: Documentation and strategy for new healthcare products or solutions.

  • Impact Evaluation Reports: Regular reports assessing the effectiveness and outcomes of health programs.
