Bureau of Global Communications
Purpose:
The Bureau of Global Communications (BGC) is the Foundation’s voice to the world, responsible for managing external communications, global visibility, media relations, and partnerships. BGC drives the public relations strategy, amplifies the Foundation’s initiatives, and ensures consistent branding across all platforms. Its aim is to position the Foundation as a leader in healthcare, research, and global outreach.
Core Services of BGC:
Public Relations & Media Outreach
Development and dissemination of press releases for key events, announcements, and initiatives.
Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and healthcare publications.
Managing media coverage during events such as NPHRS Honors Ceremony, regional summits, and health outreach activities.
Social Media Strategy and Management
Crafting and scheduling posts for the Foundation’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Content creation for event promotions, program updates, success stories, and global health awareness.
Engaging with online communities, influencers, and partners to extend reach and visibility.
Collaborating with the Central Bureau of Organisation (CBO) for social media content in line with official updates.
Branding & Visual Identity
Maintaining a consistent visual identity across all communication materials, including reports, brochures, websites, and event branding.
Development of promotional assets such as banners, flyers, and digital ads.
Ensuring alignment of the Foundation’s image with its core values of transparency, ethics, and service.
Content Creation and Copywriting
Writing articles, blog posts, success stories, newsletters, and other communication materials.
Creating content around major health topics, research outcomes, and Foundation activities.
Developing impactful and donor-oriented communications, ensuring clear messaging for diverse audiences.
Global Partnership Communications
Coordinating with international partners, sponsors, and collaborators to communicate the Foundation’s goals and align on joint projects.
Managing partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations, and corporate sponsors.
Organizing online and offline communications for global stakeholders, including emails, reports, and webinars.
Crisis Communication Management
Developing and executing communication strategies during unforeseen events, operational crises, or controversies.
Crafting public statements, press responses, and internal communications to ensure transparency and manage public perception.
Event Communication & Promotion (in Coordination with BEM)
Promoting events like NPHRS Honors Ceremony, regional meetings, and health outreach camps through various media channels.
Working closely with the Bureau of Event Management (BEM) to provide event-related updates, speaker spotlights, and media engagement.
Creating and distributing event invitations, press kits, and post-event follow-ups.
Support Functions:

Coordinating social media and public-facing content, ensuring updates and messaging are consistent with the Foundation’s internal reports and strategic direction.With Bureau of Event Management (BEM):
Providing branding and media support for all events, managing external promotions, and amplifying event-related content globally.With Bureau of Research and Development (BRD):
Collaborating to create and share research-focused content, including health research surveys, reports, and innovative findings that can be highlighted to the public.
